Your 2020 PMAR President Laurie Thiel is excited to welcome Allan Lazo, Executive Director of the Fair Housing Council of Oregon, for his presentation on “Health, Hate, Housing & History: Lessons at the Intersection of Our Two Pandemics”. This will be an informative and impactful presentation on the history of housing in Portland, the connection between racial segregation in housing and the current unrest over racial justice, and how these aspects intersect with the current COVID-19 pandemic.
We will also be announcing the winner of our 2020 Good Neighbor and Future First Citizen awards!
