PDF   Guide to Filing an Ethics Complaint

PMAR Member?
Step One: If you have a complaint concerning a Realtor®, the first thing that must be determined is whether the real estate licensee involved is a Realtor®. Not all real estate licensees are Realtors®. Because Realtors® are obligated to abide by the Code of Ethics, you can file a complaint of unethical behavior with the local Realtor® Association. To determine if a licensee is a Realtor® and a member of PMAR, call our Membership Department at 503-228-6595.

180 Days
Step Two: Please note that ethics complaints must be filed within 180 days from when the facts became known.
