Homeowners and voters say homeownership best investment; are happy with owning a home
A whopping 75 percent of Americans say that owning a home is the best long-term investment they can make.
73 percent of renters say it is a goal of theirs to eventually buy a home.
These statements aren't just wishful thinking. They're the results of a recent national survey of 2,000 likely voters conducted on behalf of the National Association of Homebuilders. The survey found overwhelming support for homeownership, despite recent fluctuations in the housing market.
