Realtors® and the Community

Realtors® care about the community in which they live and work. They fight for affordable homeownership opportunities, take pride in giving back to the community through volunteer work, and recognize those citizens whose extraordinary contributions have enriched our area.  PMAR surveyed our members about their community involvement and in the past year, members have donated an impressive 39,400 hours to community service and either helped to raise or donated $3.4 million. For a full list of charities that PMAR’s members volunteered for or donated money to in the past year, click here.

2010 PMAR Realtor® of the Year

Gail Fisher, Coldwell Banker Barbara Sue Seal Properties
Gail’s accomplishments are numerous. She has been very involved with PMAR, including serving as President in 2004. During her term as President, she was instrumental in many initiatives, including establishing a set of “Best Practices” to encourage courtesy and professionalism within the marketplace. Previously, she served as the Vice President of Member Services, an Oregon Real Estate Forms (OREF) Manager, State Director, Co-Chairman of the Brokerage Risk Management Committee and more. Today, Gail continues her active involvement with PMAR and is currently serving on an OREF statewide work group.
Gail acquired her real estate license in 1982, and in 1995, transitioned from sales to management. She became president of Coldwell Banker Barbara Sue Seal Properties in 2000, a position she held through 2008. She oversaw 500 agents and ten branches.

Gail is currently involved in the Love Box Project, a project that she organized for soldiers in Iraq, and also supports "I Have a Dream", a program that helps disadvantaged children stay in school and realize the dream of college.  She attends Riverwest Church and has worked in children's ministries.  Gail was a volunteer in the Lake Oswego School District when her children were growing up.
