The Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors® (PMAR) named Steve Lucas, owner and principal broker with Oregon Realty Company in Portland, their 2008 Realtor® of the Year at their February 25th membership luncheon. The PMAR Realtor® of the Year award is the highest honor bestowed by PMAR, and recognizes service to the Realtor® association, community involvement, and business accomplishments over the recipient’s career.

PMAR’s Future First Citizen award honors a high school senior in the Portland metropolitan area who has made an extraordinary commitment to improving the quality of life in their community.

Realtor® Bert Waugh Jr., President of Prudential Northwest Properties in Portland, is one of five individuals chosen by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) to receive REALTOR® Magazine’s 2007 Good Neighbor Award. Waugh won the award for founding Transitional Youth, an organization that helps young people who are homeless.
