The PMAR Governmental Affairs Commitee presents Danielle Hale, NAR Economist. Come and learn about the economic conditions in the Portland area that affect your business.

All Realtors® are required by the National Association of Realtors® to complete two and a half hours of ethics training every four years.

Technology Training

Monday, August 16th - 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Stop guessing! Learn what to look for when buying a computer; and discover the fundamentals for becoming your own computer guru. We’ll learn how to organize files and folders, manipulate windows, and work with desktop icons; how to get what you want faster by using the tools on your web browser and what’s available on some handy websites; and how to reply, attach, and cc with the best of them.

Some people are calling it the Too Much Information Age - which is all the more reason to be able to handle all this fast-paced data. 2007 Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 is the personal administration program that helps you manage your time and information more effectively. In our Outlook 2003 class you will learn how to create and organize your e-mail messages, contacts and appointment calendar, all in one program. Prerequisite: some prior experience with an e-mail program.

Monday, August 23rd - 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Looking to learn how to create great-looking documents? Look no further. Our 2007 MS Word class will start you off with creating a basic document and then kick it up a notch by teaching you to format text and paragraphs, add tables and insert graphic elements. We’ll even teach you how to share your documents by creating labels or mastering mail merge.

Wednesday, August 25th - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Tired of doing all the dirty work yourself? Make 2007 MS Excel do it for you. From crunching numbers to organizing information, we’ll give you the skills to make Excel work for you. We’ll teach you how to navigate your way through the program so that you can select and enter data, modify worksheets and workbooks, and perform calculations.

Wednesday, August 25th - 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Make flyers, postcards and labels. Learn to create promotional materials from scratch or use Publisher’s templates for quick, professional marketing flyers.
